The Open & Affordable Education Committee is a cross-campus committee whose members are involved in the development, promotion, and use of open and affordable course materials at Iowa State University. We promote the use of open educational resources (OER) alongside other free and low-cost instructional materials like library-licensed content, Immediate Access materials, course packets, and other affordable options for our students. While this website emphasizes our support for OER, there are a wide variety of affordable course material options available!
