About Open Educational Resources

The Open & Affordable Education Committee is a cross-campus committee whose members are involved in the development, promotion, and use of open and affordable course materials at Iowa State University. We promote the use of open educational resources (OER) alongside other free and low-cost instructional materials like library-licensed content, course packets, and low-cost print and e-books.
