University grant supports high-impact video production for kinesiology

Kira Werstein, teaching professor of kinesiologyWith support from the University Library, Kira Werstein, teaching professor of kinesiology, is developing a series of educational videos to support her students as they develop critical skills for their future careers. One of eight projects funded by the University Library to support course material affordability with support from the university’s Strategic Plan, Werstein has developed dozens of videos for her high-level kinesiology courses. Because of the evolving and practice-based nature of kinesiology, the use of multimedia materials will be an important step toward supporting the needs of new and incoming Iowa State students.
