KIN 258: Physical Fitness and Conditioning
The Musculoskeletal System and Planes of Movement Project is utilized in KIN 258: Physical Fitness and Conditioning. The course is a requirement for all Kinesiology majors, with semester enrollments of 200 or greater. The OER project allows for mastery of the major bones and muscles using a 3D model. The project also provides diverse movement videos (i.e., males and females and multiple ethnic groups) of the various movements in the three cardinal planes. Finally, the project offers numerous interactive activities and formative assessments for students to assess their knowledge of the content.
