Case Study
Karri received a 2019 Miller Open Education Mini-Grant to develop a new lab book for Biology 256L, Fundamentals of Human Physiology Laboratory. The text she developed was designed to provide students with access to modern techniques in human physiological analyses using the course-based research pedagogical approach. In this text, students learn how to perform literature searches; discriminate real data from junk data; generate research questions and hypotheses; design experiments; collect, analyze, visualize and interpret data; and present scientific findings to others.
