For her Miller Mini-Grant, Dr. Nadolny created a series of learning modules in Canvas about copyright for teachers. These modules included multiple levels of information (scaffolding) along with a pre-test that allows learners to be placed in the appropriate level of learning (adaptive content). The learning materials were compiled from creative commons and other OER sources.

The Canvas modules were published in the Canvas Commons, a place to find freely available content for Canvas, and as a Pressbook available through the ISU Digital Press. These modules were pilot-tested in 2018 in both graduate and undergraduate courses. Interestingly, although the undergraduate students had positive responses to the module, they wanted an even lower level of content than I originally included. This resulted in a redo of the content to include three levels, including a basic level covering Google search and using images in presentations.
