Developing a New Lab Manual for Fundamentals of Human Anatomy Lab

Contributors

For this grant project, the PI, Carly Manz, Course Director for BIOL 2550L, reviewed the currently available OER for Introductory Human Anatomy Lab courses and curated a remix project, modifying and updating content to meet the needs of Iowa State University's BIOL 2550L course. In addition to compiling the readings for the course in Pressbooks, Manz created new activities for use in the lab which is available to order in print for less than $20.

Additional outcomes from this project are to be added to this overview at the end of the Spring 2025 semester.

The anticipated cost savings from this project is approximately $35,000 for students each year, helping them save money and focus on learning what they need to succeed.
